Mike Mitera is also the president and founder of Chicago Jet Group established in 2003. Chicago Jet Group has been an industry leader in Data Link since 2012 with the first FANS over Iridium installation to gain FAA certification. Since that time, Chicago Jet Group has generated several FANS STC’s on a variety of aircraft. Mike is also an active corporate pilot currently flying as a Captain in the FANS airspace on the Falcon 900 and Falcon 50 with well over 16,000 hours of flight time. In addition, he also serves as an FAA check airman for the Chicago Jet Group worldwide charter certificate, which holds an Argus Gold rating. Mike also holds an airframe and powerplant license with over 30 years of experience.
